Glow Worm Cafe & Play is a montessori & reggio-inspired play space with a full service cafe & bakery in the heart of Louisville, Ky.

We are best suited for kids age 6 and younger. Caregiver supervision is required. Glow Worm provides a space that both kids and caregivers can enjoy, instead of just one or the other! We have two play spaces: The Play Lounge, which is open year round and is indoors, and the Play Patio, which is an outdoor play space connected to the Play Lounge. The Play Patio is open when it’s not too cold, rainy, or snowy.

Booking ahead of time is strongly encouraged due to capacity limitations for each play session. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability. The Play Lounge & Play Patio are closed for 30 minutes in between play sessions to clean, sanitize, and reset the space for our next guests!

We do not allow outside food & drink per the health department but offer a variety of delicious food and drinks for you and your littles. View our menu.

If you are celebrating a birthday with us but didn’t book a private event, please note that we do not allow any decor, gift opening, party favors or outside food & drink unless you’ve booked a private event.
