On a personal note, I am also the proud mama of a lively 6-year-old who keeps me on my toes and fills my life with endless love and laughter AND obstacles! My own journey through parenthood has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges and triumphs that come with raising children.

I am excited to be a facilitator in this group, where we can come together to share our experiences, provide support, and offer guidance to fellow parents. The first year of parenthood is a time of incredible evolution and adjustment, and I am here to provide a caring and empathetic ear, along with practical insights and strategies to help you thrive in your own evolution.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to create a nurturing and supportive community for all parents. Here's to the exciting adventure of parenthood and the growth we'll experience together!

Gather & Play: A Weekly Toddler Play & Caregiver Support Group

Every Wednesday from 9am-10:30am at Glow Worm - Highlands in the Play Lounge. It’s a fun, casual way to meet other caregivers and let your younger kiddos play in a safe setting with other children their age.

Formerly known as “Toddler Cocoon” this group was created after hearing from a number of caregivers whose babies aged out of Cocoon that they missed having that time to connect. Caregivers have also requested a play session specifically for toddlers, so we are excited to be able to bring Gather & Play to Glow Worm in a way that benefits everyone.

Gather & Play is a time for caregivers with toddlers age 12-36 months to circle up, make friends, and let their toddlers play and socialize in a safe environment.

Details about Gather & Play

  • We meet in the Play Lounge. Caregivers grab a seat and circle up around the tables and everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves, share a little about what’s new with them, and connect with other caregivers. This group is facilitated by the same folks who facilitate our Cocoon group. Toddlers can roam freely and play, and caregivers are free to move about as needed to tend to their little ones.

  • Sure! To each their own. But we challenge you to join in and get to know some other caregivers in your community. It's a casual, fun time and there's no pressure to share.

  • Gather & Play is on Wednesdays from 9-10:30am at our Highlands location. We meet in the Play Lounge.

  • $10 + tax or free with a membership to any Glow Worm location.

  • Of course! As long as your older child can play gently with the toddlers, they are welcome to join. If they are unable to play gently, we will ask you redirect them or bring an activity they can work on independently.

Younger siblings are also welcome and can be held, left in their stroller or car seat, or we can lend you a Baby Bjorn bouncer if it helps!

  • Simply put, we can’t block off an entire play session on a weekly basis for free. Cocoon takes place in our classroom, so we are able to waive the cost and we absorb the facilitator fee.

We are working on sponsorships to make this group more accessible for those who cannot afford it.

  • Eventually! We are working on getting all the same support groups up and running at Glow Worm East and will let everyone know when we are ready. Think of the Highlands location as the incubator: we test all of our ideas here before offering them at other locations!

  • Registration for Gather & Play ahead of time is preferred but not required. Our cancellation policy for Gather & Play is the same as our policy for regular play sessions. The capacity for Gather & Play is more fluid than regular play sessions so we should always have room for any caregiver and tot that want to join!

  • Absolutely! A lot of Gather & Play attendees are walk-ins for groups because toddlers are gonna toddler. If no one else shows up, we still promise that a facilitator will be there and you'll have a great time.
