March 5th: Printmaking!

We will begin our month by exploring process art through printmaking. Printmaking is a process of transferring an image from one surface to another. Each child will be able to do this by creating their own stamps using a variety of materials such as cardboard, bubble wrap, puffy stickers, bottle tops, string, doilies and paint. This art project gives each child the freedom to use their imaginations while creating.

Join Sydney Ross on Tuesdays from 12pm-1pm for a kid-centric art class at Glow Worm in the Highlands! Sydney’s foundation for her art classes are based on process art, which is an artistic movement where the end result is not the main focus. Instead, the class will focus on allowing children the freedom to use their imaginations while creating.
