About the Host
Hello! My name is Anthia. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, where I developed a deep passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a Developmental Service Worker and Behavior Technician in various settings, including group homes, educational environments, in-home care, and treatment centers, and more. My commitment to teaching essential life skills and creating enriching learning opportunities for vulnerable populations has been a driving force in my career.
My journey in education continued as I ventured into the world of Montessori education, where I served as a Teacher Assistant.
My educational background includes earning a certificate in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies, a Diploma in Developmental Service Work, and a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science.
In my spare time, I cherish moments spent with friends, family, and church community. valuing the connections that make life truly special. I’m excited to share my enthusiasm for baby sign language with you in our upcoming classes. Together, we’ll embark on this remarkable journey of enhancing communication and strengthening the bond between you and your precious babies.
